Alright, I haven't gone to the forums in a while, but with what I experienced in Lightfall made me come back here. This will be my experience with Lightfall so far. So. Gameplay wise, was awesome. Strand is a very fun element and a welcome edition to the franchise. Neptune is a great location. Very pretty and definitely unlike anything we've seen in Destiny. I actually like Nimbus, I think they're an interesting character and their humor about everything to me seems like a coping mechanism for the stress that is going around. Calus and the Witness were great antagonists, especially with how powerful the Witness is. Now, time for the... problems. Ok Bungie, what were you thinking doing the story like this? The story of Lightfall is going to be explained in the upcoming seasons?! Making us wait through an entire expansion cycle to find out what was going on in Lightfall is a very annoying method of storytelling. Also, by the way, remember how seasonal content will be cycled out after the next expansion comes out? How will new players post Final Shape know what is going on in Lightfall? Because leaving it to Youtubers explaining what the past story was all about is really lazy. If you want people to experience Destiny story, don't put it behind a fomo system. For Final Shape, Final Shape is the last expansion in the Light vs. Dark saga. There better not be a single question unanswered in that expansion. And all of the major story plot BETTER be in the expansion proper and not explained during fomo seasons. WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NOW AND NOT OVER A YEAR OF SPECULATION. We've waited 10 years for our questions to be answered. I hope someone at Bungie sees this. Because if Final Shape is explained like this, that is a problem.
