Bounties sucked… but at least when it didn’t make sense I could just not pick them up. Like when it asked me to use a sniper rifle in something that sniper was not good in. One thing I like about Pathfinder is that I don’t have to go pick them up. That’s the only thing. This, you have to do one thing to get to the next thing, is stupid and some of the tasks are horrible. I know you make it so you could always have a PVP or PVE way to the end. Which is an improvement. But having to go kill a bunch of stuff with a sniper when they are not really meta is not a good experience. Maybe add an option to reroll a task? Or better yet make it so you can cancel a task and you don’t get the XP, but you get past it or something. Or go back to bounties and let me choose how to play the game the way I want. Maybe allow multiple weapon types on each task, so you don’t pigeon hole people into one weapon that might not be good for that activity causing frustration to other players because people are playing weird just to complete a bounty/task.

Agree with multiple posters that Pale Heart considerably simpler than Vanguard. Being forced into Gambit (I will not go near the Crucible) somewhat sub-optimal, not least with the ridiculous still-not-actually-sure-it-wasn’t-bugged ignitions bounty from last week. For PH pathfinder to work so well and VG pathfinder to be set up to ensure that you cannot progress it without entering at least two separate and in no way connected activities seems deliberately obtuse. Also, is the Pale Heart ever going to be open to the entire player base at the same time? Getting kinda depressing wandering around on my own…

由Dooodley編輯: 6/27/2024 9:01:22 PMYeah pathfinder really blows. It's good that they've now allowed people to stay in a lane on their path to the reward but I feel like they've really up'ed the criterias for every node and made them, in some cases, extremely tedious - perhaps as an outcome of there now being less options since every activity has their own lane within the same Pathfinder. The tedious aspect goes double for the Pale Heart Pathfinder, they've really gone out of their way to put the nodes in different areas of the map - making it a really time consuming activity if you also like to actually complete the overthrows you participate in. As for the shared PF, I prefer VG and gambit but would play Crucible if needed. I tend to start off with VG because of NF though. So that's the lane I had this week but then I got stuck on ignitions or having to complete the node which only adds 5 % for every strike you play. With the builds I typically play I'm more or less never igniting so I had to go out of my way to run a class/build combo that even made it possible. It still took a while to get it done - but quicker than having to play 20 strikes for one node. The option would have been to completely switch lane at the end - which would have been time consuming aswell. I will probably branch out more from start from now on in the normal PF but I feel pretty much done with the Pale Heart one, it's not worth it. That's not to say that I wont play overthrows or farm for exotic class items but all this flop flopping .....meh.

30 Sniper Precision kills in NF when everyone's running Turrets and AoE items . Is hard to do lol. Honestly just get rid of the Precision part of all the bounties and just make them kills.

If anything, they should further simplify the paths of pathfinder ie. Instead of Sniper kills, just say precision kills. Instead of HC kills, just kills with a semi-auto weapon or any weapon, etc Having to have a specific gun is not good, like, I understand the abilities portion (forcing us to not spam the same build and just try different stuff, for abilities) but weapons? Nah bruv, I grinded my -blam!- for my god roll, let me enjoy it

Exactly. Pathfinder isn't any better than the old system of bounties. What they should do is grade your performance in activities and give out xp and rewards according to how well you did. Did a lot of damage on a boss? Reward. Didn't die a lot or at all? Reward. Killed the most enemies? Reward. Stunned a bunch of champions... ect. Did you deposit enough motes in a gambit match? Here's some xp for that and bright dust see you next match. This would keep players engaged more and playing to win. Obviously if winners get rewarded it's bad cause everyone should get a participant reward now a days. I'm fine for everyone getting some basic rewards but there's nothing wrong with rewarding excellence either. That's how the game should work. Telling me what element to kill on what activities on what enemies with what abilities or weapons isn't it. This pathfinder is lazy they just took bounties and made them worse. 🙄

Pathfinder sucks -blam!- ! 5% per strike to 100% completion Banking 45 notes in gambit for 4 to register Trying to get ignition kills, for fk sakes I got a better chance of dieing and being reborn into an Actual other world with magical super powers than get one god dam kill to register !!! The only Path they need to find is the one that fires the clown who thought of this Trash. Playing 3 Gambit games was annoying !!!! Playing 7 because their system sucks at tracking progression makes me want Bungie to -Beepin- Go -Beep- themselves with a Hot Poker !

Pathfinder is terrible, but sniper rifle kills are not difficult if you use a sniper just a little every day. Eventually, you will become an expert with the weapon. I have been using the same sniper, Volta Bracket, in exactly this way for a long time. Not only do I get the precision kill, but it also kills nearby enemies with Strand.

Broken Pathfinder objectives not properly counting. Had 1 yesterday. “Deposit 150 motes as a team in Gambit” So we summon our primevil as a team by depositing 100 motes. Right. Check after match. 84 out of 150. How does that work? Primevil won’t spawn in unless you’ve filled the bank by depositing 100.

Cold day in Hell when a pathfinder node tells me to do Gambit. That’s like a veteran Guardian taking orders from a blueberry who’s babysitting ghosts…

由Tahllinavian編輯: 6/27/2024 7:51:12 PMThey need to separate them into their own pathfinders, like pale heart that's the only real way to fix this, no idea why they thought it was a good idea to combine them for rituals yet sperate them for a destination, we get reduced rewards too.

If your actual performance and outcome matter then players will try in game. Bounties are bad cause I can join a game and just do what is required for the bounty and then leave or not try. Having a system that rewards actually playing the game right and doing it well makes more sense. Also having extra good rewards for those who are very good at the game. Like imagine how cool it would be if you got a large pile of bright dust for a rare crucible medal earned? This is how you reward players. Not stupid dull chores. It should be automatic baked into the activities. No need for a screen or a stupid bounty or anything.
