Whatever happens, we’re going to need to watch Eido like a hawk. She is FAR too obsessed with finding Eramis- does she have a death wish?

Worried that it won't actually focus on the scorn and instead will make Mithrax and Spider into a couple and focus on their relationship.

I find it funny that Chioma was completely irrelevant to the story. Seriously nothing different would have happened if she wasn’t there

由shwabbywabby編輯: 9/9/2024 1:10:40 PMAbsolutely uninterested. Act 1,2 & 3 were for me the lowest form of content Destiny has ever had and that includes the content droughts in D1. In all my time playing Destiny I’ve never felt the urge to turn the dialog off until this season. The games spiralling but Bungie seems more interested in pushing an agenda than fixing it. And the PVP team are absolutely clueless!! It’s like they are trying to get rid of players!!!

The next one has Crow and Fikrul as two key characters. Much better characters than this current episode. So it at least has that going for it.

Honestly I'll reserve my judgement for whatever final mission or cutscene they drop but in all fairness the horrible time-gating and overacted drama are already subtracting from whatever it ends up being. I was hyped for the Vex to finally have another Season instead of another faction, especially the Hive as they feel done to death in my opinion. But with everything going on has heavily soured this "Episode."

I feel like it’ll be a letdown just like this story was. A lot of word salad, vague threats, a focus on peoples feelings and no real storytelling. I mean look at this episode. We found out about a threat that’s supposed to be doom and gloom but it’s been nothing but a deranged sappy snoozefest. Well I don’t care about Maya and Chioma or their relationship. Vex individualism has been showcased in the past. They took old lore and ideas and spun a new vague story around it. I see nothing but creative bankruptcy. So the next episode will be even worse.

We know nothing about what the Echo is or what it might do, but it’s certainly being used in a more interesting way. If the promotional material we’ve seen is to be believed Fikrul has managed to take control of several Pyramid ships with it. And if the Worm Gods are involved there’s every chance his Scorn may now have their interest in the aftermath of the Witness’s death, perhaps continuing on from Rhulk’s experimentation of the Scorn as alternate hosts for the worm larvae. Would certainly add to the events of Episode 3 if the Worm Gods were shopping around for potential replacements.

由jhermannITJ編輯: 9/8/2024 6:50:56 PMI'm excited. "Qinziq blocks the entrance into her lab. It had been hastily transferred from Leviathan to Glykon after our procurement of the ship; all manner of vicious-looking machinery. She raises a finger to my face. Her language restructures in my mind. "You do not belong here." "I need to know exactly what you're using them for." "Why? They are animals. Our beasts of burden." I ponder the ethics. They used to be something else, a deadened part buried and ignored… but… "Such concern for a Hunter." She meant to pin me to Cayde. "Ain't any different from defiling a corpse. You people honor your dead, don't you?" 'I do not answer to you,' Qinziq seethes into my mind. She brushes me away and moves to shut the door. "Bahto does. His soldiers do. Do you want to politely ask the Scorn into confinement, or do you want to be straight with me?" She scowls at me. "Where is your Ghost?" "Hangar maintenance…" "Come," Qinziq says, leading me inside the lab to a bundle of large vats adorned with all manner of pumps and wiring. "This…" she slides a viewing port open on the front-most vat. Rabid Scorn eyes lock with mine through the view port. Dark fluid roils as the creature flails and fumes muted shrieks into the liquid. "Natural connection to Darkness made stronger. Their minds, linked like ours, but without Barons, there is nothing to fill them." I watch it claw frantically against the vat wall until I hear the grating tone of bone-raw fingertips digging into the metal. "A touch more violent than I'd expect from a mindless thing," I say. "They subsist off the last thought imposed on them. Kill for Fikrul. For the lost prince. But…" Qinziq presses her hand to the tank. She fixates her eye on the Scorn, and it mellows. Her words are strained. "…with effort, their psyche is a vessel. Through which many expressions can… commune." She releases the Scorn, exhausted, and it drowns again; eyes shrieking terror. "Too many for this one to inhabit." "How does that help us?" "Calus will draw the Darkness into them, and we will squeeze from them all they know." "How?" I insist. "When we arrive at the anomaly, you will see."" Katabasis, "She meant to pin me to Cayde". I always wondered what this meant. 由BarStool編輯: 9/8/2024 4:13:55 PMI’m waiting for Heresy. A corrupted Dreadnaught is cool. Revenant also looks kinda fun if they really lean into just how Edgy it seemingly is. (In other words, I just stopped playing for now. I was hoping that Bungie would actually change Nessus, witch would make up for the rather poor execution and interest the seasons has brought forth, but nope)
