Enough with the pulse rifles.
Now.
Announce how you're changing the meta so we at least make it back to the Dreadnaught.
You don't have to equalize usage. When there are too many pulses, autos, and scouts no one moves. When people crouch spam with subs and autos there's no reason to learn to aim.

There's one primary with a skill ceiling that creates a spectrum of player skill. It promotes good movement, positioning, ranging, aiming, timing... All things that lend themselves to other primary weapons. It is the indisputable choice of the most ardent Crucible players even when it's not your defined meta. (Save the ones that move to what ever cheese they can) Enough is enough.
Precision weaponry used correctly should always have a slight, but definitive edge as the basis of every meta.
Weapon variety is good and I'm glad we have arrived at a place where so much is viable.
But pulses are exceedingly strong, whether you feel things like Elsie's or Bygones are out of band or not. The game is slowing to a crawl.
IT'S NOT MAKING CASUALS PLAY MORE.
Casuals make demands and it doesn't change how often they play cause they were never inclined to improve in the first place. That's what makes them casual.
Return back to the design philosophy the PvP Strike Team had been working on before TFS dropped.
What happened to all the lessons learned from limiting abilities and special? PEOPLE WERE HAVING PRIMARY GUN FIGHTS AGAIN. With plenty of special without starting every fight with an ability.
Not another damn buff to Titan for the foreseeable future. They are plenty strong. They don't make proper builds and play into them. It's not forcing people to switch from Hunter, it's just pissing off the largest remaining portion of a dwindling pvp population.
The disparity between what one class can do from the next is blatant. Find another way to encourage diversity. You can't make these things any more FREEEEEEEE.
Reading the comments, and wow, people don't get it.
IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU THINK PULSES ARE BALANCED OR NOT WHEN THEY ARE THE MOST USED PRIMARY BY A WIDE MARGIN
Destiny thrives on variety, and when that variety is gone, it withers. The PVP meta can be boiled down to a VERY short list
1) Prismatic Hunters and Titans
2) Pulses, especially Bygones, Aggressive Bursts, and High Impacts
3) Solar and Prismatic Warlocks to a lesser degree
4) Handcannons and shotguns to a lesser degree, especially 140 and 120 HCs, and Precision / Aggressive shotguns
And like 90% of Hunters are using one of three Exotics: Knucklehead, Stompees, or Relatavism.
90% of Warlocks are using Ophidians, Transversives, or Soliphism.
At least Titnas have a little more Exotic armor variety than the other classes, but it's still mostly Stoicism and Dunemarchers.
The ENTIRE META is like 4 subclasses plus one of 6 pulses or a 140 / 120 handcannon, maybe a Precision or Aggressive shotgun, and one of 3 Exotic armor pieces. Done. That's it. Nothing else is used to a meaningful degree.
IT IS BORING TO PLAY THE SAME COOKIE-CUTTER PLAYERS EVERY GAME. It always has been, no matter the meta. it's especially boring in a pulse meta where low handling, high range, and a fast TTK discourage pushing.
Bungie NEEDS to buff the underperforming subclasses (like SOLAR TITANS, my gosh these have disappeared) and weapons (when was the last time you saw a Glaive?), or they need to nerf the current meta so other stuff will be used.
