Lost Items

My friend and I just completed the vex incursion event on Neptune, then we both recieved a network connection error despite playing from different countries! Coming staight back in put us in a different 'phase' (not sure if this is the right word) so we are not able to claim are loot. Is there any help avaiable for this?
