Or let us save our favorite rolls to collections. That way we can pull crafted rolls and randomly rolled gear from collections. Letting us safely dismantle everything. Doing this would easily open 170+ vault space, since I could delete my exotic armors

I can't remember when but bungie said the issue they have with increasing vault space is when you load into the tower you aren't just loading you and all your gear, you're loading all the gear of every guardian in that tower instance. Vault items included. So if they increase vault space that means more items need to load which leads to longer black screens before finally being able to walk in the Tower. In short, bungie spaghetti code makes it impossible to add a ton of vault space without massively increasing Tower (or really anywhere with access to the vault) load times.

Every other game I can think of lets you buy more storage space with either real world or in game currency. Destiny not letting you do it with either just makes it seem really dated.
