As the titles says. It is incredibly infuriating to die right after you pull the trigger all because an enemy had the reaction time of a god and shot it the moment it started moving.
Not only do you have to watch out from your teammate jumping in front of you to get you killed or enemies being programmed to walk in front of you, but you now also have to make sure that there are no enemies at all or they will just shoot straight into your barrel and blow you up.
What is the point of using them anymore when everything is out to get you killed for simply holding it ?

There are certain things I understand dying to such as enemies moving in front of you. Stuff like that can just be seen as a failure to be aware of your surroundings, but instantaneously dying to your own grenade launcher when fighting the Scorn is such bad game design. If this many people are frustrated by a very specific thing, then there is clearly a problem there that needs to be fixed. SOOOOOOO many of my solo runs were ruined because of a stray Scorn shot that flew in front of me. Whether this is intentional or not doesn't matter. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!!

Also, enemies wandering in front of you gets worse. Not only will they intercept shots, the aim-assist tracks to the nearest and fastest-moving enemy, with the effect being stronger the closer+faster the enemy is moving.

Yeah I realized very quick that I could not use my whole loadout in tomb of elders because I would die right awsy after shooting my heavy GL at a boss of just at enemies. This is by far the worst experience in the whole game. I think scorn purple projectiles track to the GL shot lol so bad

On top of that, I think taking as much damage as we do from self-detonations from rockets, grenades launcher shots, nova bombs, blade barrages, and whatever else deals self-damage should be removed or heavily nerfed. The number of times I've died because of a teammate, enemy, or projectile (Scorn Sawblades) getting in front of me is too many to count. Removing lethal fall and physics damage was a step in the right direction, now we need the same treatment for our abilities and weapons. Will this make wiping in some cases harder? Sure, but there should be an option when you open your menu to Kill or unstuck yourself in those cases. I'm sure some will heavily disagree with me or my reasoning for this, but honestly, I don't care. Dying to this stuff is annoying as hell.

I concur, even glimmer makes my GL explode in my face. My lock's fire buddy can block a shot and kill me...kinda off-putting. I hate heavy GLs.

I want my melees to stop whiffing yet it’s still in the game. Bungie doesn’t care about minuscule things like this. All they care about is increasing play time and squeezing every dollar they can from players.

The bungie devs are lazy asses who can’t create real difficulty so they have artificial difficulty like this. No wonder this game is dead.

Scorn are thee worst!!! Just finished running a NF; regular bullets get blocked, rocket side arms blowing up in my face, vortex grenade don’t even make it out my pocket, Scorn Raiders will be 1hp then travel across the map to snipe you & running toward a Warden or Chieftain with a mine launcher haha BLOCKED 😂 goofy af

I was running a threading spam build and most frequently scorn would destroy the threading grenade as soon as it landed because of there annoying projectiles… which also made me realize the threading nerf that was meant primarily for PvP may be affecting their performance and efficiency PVE. Pure nuisance

It’s not common in the slightest and can be entirely avoided with better placement. The only allying thing is using a gl on strand warlock with perched threadlings.
