I get one shot killed from such a long range away, even by just average fusion rifles. Sometimes it accounts for literally three quarters of my deaths in Rumble. It just seems unfair that I can get so consistently killed even when I've got the jump on my opponent and have the skill advantage, since all you really have to do is turn round and track your target for a second while it charges.
I don't know, maybe it's just me, although my friends agree. Vote in the poll, I'd like to see what you think.

I get wrecked by fusion rifles quite often. My load outs are typically maxed exotic and legendary weapons and i get consistently -blam!-ed by people using rare fusion rifles It isn't fun

Nope I hold my own in pvp (my k/d is slowly creeping up) and never have problems with fusions, if I did I'd use a fusion rifle instead of Suros.

Not really. I get blasted enough by fusion rifles in crucible, two things are gonna happen. First, I'm gonna quit putting myself in range of those fusion rifles. And next, I'm gonna break out my Mythoclast and show that guy running around with a fusion rifle special like it was a primary what a fusion rifle primary really is.

Honestly the power of fusion rifles and shotguns is fine. The true problem is the amount of ammo a player gets. If not every player had damn near unlimited amounts of special weapon ammo, I don't think you'd hear quite as much complaining. People wouldn't (or at least wouldn't be wise to) spam special weapon fire the first chance they could. They would have to think about when and how to use the weapons. If special weapon ammo dropped in between heavy weapon ammo drops this would be a way to control it. This would be as opposed to the special weapon ammo containers (maybe those could be the spawn locations). I honestly would like to see what Crucible was like if this was the case.

I'm not gonna lie, my plug one.1 is just unfair. The thing has a longer range than my vex. I've never seen another fusion rifle with this much range. Check my profile and see for yourself.

Let me intoduce you to how I tend to handle fusion rifles... They have a 'charge time' which means unless its a vex, you literally side step, or jump to avoid. Timing is key. Best tip ever - run straight at them, when they are charging, slide. You will actually slide right under their burst. Then proceed tho shotgun/melee them.

It's all a tradeoff. If you snipe and have a lobby full of shotties and fusion. Well guess who is dying more.. Use a shotty and at extreme close range who is dead first?? Use a fusion and at medium/close range who just got incinerated? It is all a tradeoff. People just need to learn that crucible is not cod
