Hey, Bungie Community.
I hope you had a nice weekend.
We noticed that you noticed that we already have plans for upcoming content packs in Destiny.
We do! They have activity names (which may or may not change) and we have a really good idea what they're going to contain. They even have placeholder nodes in the Director, as you've already discovered.
But neither of the Expansion Packs we've announced are finished.
People at Bungie are hard at work to complete content for our first post launch pack, "The Dark Below," as I type these words. It will be finished soon. It releases in December. Soon, we'll detail it out for you so you can see exactly what we've been working on.
Thanks for playing. Thanks for the passion. We know you want details. We'll talk more soon.

Thanks for the roadmap Deej. :p

Make the DLC for Xbox players cheaper since we don't get all of the content
-
Can't wait. Bring it on Bungie!

This is a very old forum, but I do not care, it has been a good few months now since the disaster that was dark below has been out, many people bought the DLC were displeased how easy it has been and more so that previous raids became unimportant, which gave us less things to do, I've read a leak now for house of wolves to be released for May 19th, and that is simply not good enough. Destiny by now must have noticed the drop in players on their servers by now, surely they want to bring out the next DLC to bring them back, I have racked up 500+ hours on Destiny, so I do know what I'm talking about when I say for all Destiny players that we need more content and customisation otherwise Destiny 2 or whatever you want to call the next game will drop many numbers bc previous players would have lost interest due to the lack of content and feel like there will be similar problems then also. Also may 19th is too close to ESO when a lot of online gamers for consoles will switch to giving people no reason to buy a DLC pack for 2 weeks sake. Goodbye Destiny.

Hi bungie I really like you so guys can you please make in destiny fighting ships and flying in a game with enemy and good I really appreciate you for listening to me.😄
-
I love Destiny. I know this is going to be a long term franchise so not all of the story will be in the first game. it's like buying the first book of a trilogy. The first Halo didn't have all of the background story, either.
-
DeeJ Well I'm happy I bought the limited edition, I can't wait to play it.

Troll bump
-
That's great and all, but please make it possible for 2 player co-op in both live and story mode!! Like split screen, and possibly in the next update please!!!
-
buff my Mythoclast!

Scammers. Bungie might aswell be registered in Nigeria.

Can't wait for the DLC. Are you guys player testing the new raid at all? VOG for me got cut way to short with the exploits and nobody wanting to run legit. The raid was fun as hell until those things were found. I'm really hoping that there are more than three new missions! Last thing will playstation always get content that Xbox doesn't?

Bearbeitet von OptimusDiaz: 10/30/2014 3:55:18 PMThis just bothers me to no end. I'm just baffled that THIS situation is considered a standard. CapCom became infamous for strategy like this (resident evil, street figther, MvC 3, etc) and the result of it is shown (and has continued to) in their full-year earnings (they're garbage). How are you NOT telling a specific user-group that you don't care about their experience? Keep in mind, this is coming from a user who tested your ALPHA I mean, providing more content via pre-launch is one thing, but providing extra content over the life of a game? "I don't feel LEGEND Bungie", will be the call from fans soon. Because now a certain user group has 6 strikes to another 8 strikes. PS4 got like, a couple extra stories or something, an extra strike, and a few weapon sets (1 per armor) at release, but compared to the mass of content you get on Xbox, it's a very small percentage-- with this DLC it becomes a bigger percentage. (keep in mind I have both a PS4 and Xbox One, but I prefer the latter due to friends and other features) This whole thing might as well be pay-wall for players all around. This should never have been about who has what console, and/or slow releases of a part finished game. BUNGIE should have been about the experience of the game for users, and now that's lost due to restrictions that have nothing to do with gameplay, but business deals. By trying to hurt the competition or raise your sales profits, You've succeeded in hurting the users/fans of Destiny AND Bungie. Kotaku said it best, "This sort of practice is just going to breed more resentment in the people who play games."

hey blow job whats up? how are you I want to start off by saying you had a great game not so long ago you know I played my first titan months ago but as of late I relized wtf? theres not a single thing I havent done in your game ive been bored out of my cranium why? cause ps gets all the events I.swear id sue you if I could. fellow gamers we have been ripped off every dlc they are selling.is already on the disc just inaccessible amd unacceptable I bet if we all got together we can make a game a million times better we would make it 100% for all consoles amd not exclusive and actually listen to our audience. the creators of destiny promised us an open world game? where is it? wheres anything you promised you.thiefs?

Bearbeitet von Vic13ious: 10/30/2014 8:41:56 AMHey DeeJ, I can send you the address to my place so you can just start burglarizing it. I mean, that would probably be easier than developing a game that isn't finished and then selling the rest of it for ten years after that. What kind of bs is "pay the same price as a playstation owner but you don't get all of it for a year...or maybe longer". Bunch of con artists dude, when I read the details of this DLC I honestly thought I was in my spam folder, reading over some African prince scam.
-
But Activision just announced it, what are you going on about? We know what's coming and we don't need to brace ourselves.
-
It's no wonder Bungie said that reviewers should wait a few days, they wanted to squeeze as much money as they can from the public based on hype and eagerness, this is incredibly sad and people defending Bungie here make me sick!
-
Did you write this with a straight face? Very cringe worthy. Step right up folks, all of this can be yours for an additional $39.99. We will give you endless new content in the form of a new strike you can run endlessly until your fingers bleed. This also comes with new weapons not much different from the current ones. Did I mention story? Yes folks Dinklebot will take you to the far reaches of the galaxy and work as your trusted companion hacking each and every terminal as you fend off waves of baddies over and over again. And when you're done you can up the difficulty and do it all over again and again and again. Oh the fun we will have!
-
Sorry but DLC won't save this game. Bungie, you are making all the wrong decisions so far. 10years? I give 10 months, maybe. I see with Destiny what kind of studio Bungie is, I won't be buying anything else from developers who released this obvious consumer money pit.
-
Activision is the -blam!- problem and bungie see only the $$$ -blam!- of content -blam!- of story -blam!- of the players
-
So when's the beta ending? This is the beta right?
-
They actually were finished. The only problem was it was part of the "original" Destiny that wasn't cut to bits. Now we have to wait till December because you have to rewrite the whole thing to fit the cut up version of Destiny that you sold us.
-
That's funny though, because the furry Titan armor in the picture (from a ViDoc) looks pretty done to me. It's in the games code, sold by the Titan Vanguard, but not in the final game. Also, where is the Titan helmet with the T-shaped visor that was shown in the DESTINY GAMEPLAY REVEAL? Also not in the damn game.
