Were you detecting an advantage attributed to your more powerful gear and weapons? Did the experience feel different than standard Crucible combat?
Talk to me, Guardians.
UPDATE: I know people quit games when they know they won't win. I'm more curious about your perceptions for how the power-level advantages work. Help me help you. Stay on target!

OH IB yah!
-
Stop replying you idiots. This post is from 2014
-
Oh I liked it even though I was able to play just 2 days of it but I wish it was like that more often. May the strongest or the most skilled win
-
I felt it slightly when doing burn damage. Over all I wasn't impeded to much as a 275 Had a great time with Tlaloc and Stormcaller.
-
The majority of my iron banner matches were being added to a losing team and then struggling to get kills period against a team with supers and heavy weapons. Never got any gear or anything out of it

Editado por chrisEm: 10/19/2015 5:09:07 PMShadowshot glitch has ruined the crucible experience for me entirely. I'm not going near PvP till this is fixed. To stay on topic, it feels like regular crucible. The power difference doesn't even matter. Red death still has the same time to kill if I'm 298 light or 308 light. If there is a difference, it's so marginal that I can't even tell.

It's horrible. I got 1 shot by a YEAR 1 icebreaker! Please explain to me how that is a viable 1s1k weapon in iron banner. #Deej

I didn't feel like the rewards were worth my time. There used to be something I was chasing, gear to get me to level 32, etheric light to get me to 34. Now all he has is 280 stuff that is just about worthless.
-
Why was it worth playing? From what I heard and read it most certainly was not worth playing. I did not take a single step into it :)
-
wow look at all the feedback you took and replied to deej, what a wonderfully pointless thread , seriously go drown in a bucket.

More drops would be nice like a strike buff
-
Pulse rifles are way op, need a damage reduction nerf like auto rifles or remove it from auto rifles
-
Look at the date fools!!! Bungie doesn't give 2 shits about the newest IB.
-
Umm I can't play iron banner I don't have taken king

I have found the first IB 2.0 to be highly disappointing. I usually spend IB week playing as many rounds as possible trying to get all my chars to rank 5 for the sweet gear. Unfortunately when you're trying to build up light and getting gear almost 20 points below your light lvl is highly demotivating. Aslo the drop rate of actual IB gear seemed to be low incomprehension to previous IB yes I got some IB gear but two pieces in however many rounds it took me to get to rank 4.5 does seem a little low. I love the look of the new gear though and am hopefully to see next IB what improvements you guys make before I decide if I will stop playing IB all together.

my teammates always leave me in skirmish :(
-
I found my first fight in the iron Banner to be quite fun. Since the rebalance of weapons that was included in 2.0, it appeared to me that actual prowess in combat appeared to matter more than a set "meta" for the IB. I am not a big Crucible player, but I enjoy it none the less. I found myself winning firefights against three to four people without the standard use of shotguns you would normally see, instead winning with strategic grenade placements and better aiming.
-
Didnt take a single step into the IB, and glad for it.
-
Umm.. did you guys notice this post is from Last year's first iron banner? Deej doesn't even post on the forums anymore.
-
I just worry that after hard mode raid comes out and defense jumps to 330, us non raiding players won't be able to participate is future iron banners and trials because we will be so underleveled. I feel pvp shouldn't be gated by pve content.

the armor sucks, why bother?
