Updated 7 PM - [BUNGIE] Known Issue: Missing Currencies and Materials after Update 2.7.1
Hello all,
We are actively investigating an issue where players may have lost some of their Glimmer, Bright Dust, Infusion Materials, and/or other types of game currencies. As part of the investigation, we are bringing Destiny 2 offline to prevent further loss of materials.
We will provide updates here and on [url=https://twitter.com/BungieHelp]@BungieHelp[/url] as we determine the cause of this issue.
[u][b]11 AM Update[/b]: [/u]
We believe we have identified the cause of this issue and are working on a fix internally. Destiny 2 will continue to be offline until we have a better understanding of the timeline for this fix. We will provide another update by 12 PM Pacific.
[u][b]12 PM Update:[/b][/u]
We are testing a fix for this issue internally, including investigating resolutions that would restore missing currencies and materials to players. Destiny 2 will continue to be offline while we test this fix. We will provide another update by 1 PM Pacific.
[u][b]1 PM Update:[/b][/u]
We are continuing to perform tests of possible solutions to restore missing currencies and materials to players. Destiny 2 will remain offline until the issue can be resolved. We will provide another update by 2 PM Pacific.
[u][b]2 PM Update:[/b][/u]
We have validated a fix for this issue and will be rolling back all player accounts to how they were before Update 2.7.1 went live. Destiny 2 will remain offline for several more hours as we deploy this fix. Another update will be provided by 3 PM Pacific.
[u][b]3 PM Update:[/b][/u]
We’re continuing work to fix the issue that caused loss of currencies and materials. All player accounts will be rolled back to the state they were in at around 8:30 AM Pacific.
- Players may have to redo any progress or quests they completed between 8:30 - 10 AM PST.
- Purchases made between 8:30 - 10 AM PST will need to be redone. Silver spent during that time will be restored.
- Destiny 2 Silver purchases from the platform store will be added back to player accounts.
- "The Pidgeon and the Phoenix" Lore being removed is a separate issue and will be resolved in a future update
Another update will be provided around 4 PM Pacific.

We’re continuing to work on player account rollbacks and estimate that Destiny 2 will be brought back online at 7 PM Pacific.
Stay tuned for more updates.
[u][b]7 PM Update:[/b][/u]
Rollback for player accounts is complete and Destiny 2 servers are back online. Players may experience login issues as services return to normal.

I lost all my progress on shattered throne. Thankfully , I'm only on the second part, but I'm not looking forward to do the first part all over again. Oh well.

I've put this Shader on a few on my weapons before I got sick with Diabetes! Can you check it out when you get a chance, I know you have alot going on right now! 3 RepliesI'm glad that there is a team that actually cares to fix a game when it breaks. Not everything goes according to plan, and I'm sure Bungie will make things right. Yes, this is a bummer, but what kind of a community would we be if we didnt support those who take care of us? At least they didn't let it go unnoticed

Missing the Corridors of Time lore and emblem, while my triumph tab keeps flashing at me telling me that the lore is -seen- server side as being completed. Stripped of a time sensitive reward that's removed from being obtained. Guess that's what -they- mean by 'exclusive' hmm?

is it possible that im missing like, 6 pieces of armor and suffered a regression on the iron banner's quest? i mean, i finished it on time and everything, but now it appears as if i havent completed it. Almost all of my quests suffered a regression in the progress, is that okay?

I got back online but after about 30 minutes I can no longer connect to the servers.

Thank you for fixing the issue guys! Thank you for the fix! It seems I got back everything. I'm lucky I'd played only 10 mins before the fix began, so I've just "lost" a minimal progress and clap xp. Though I can imagine that some people have got a rare drop or glory points during the short uptime and they are quite upset loosing it because of the rollback. Maybe it would be a good idea to give all players some incentive for the inconvenience. I don't know maybe a bag of engrams (even exotic) or something like that. You know just to show that you care. I'm pretty sure a lot of haters right now would be calmed down by such an action of good will.

And being addicted to gaming is in the same category as a cocaïne-addiction, alcoholism, smoking, gambling,... Better to spend your time on thinking about that, instead of flaming and blaspheming the dev-team of this epic and wonderful game! This is one of the best games ever made, the reason why you're addicted to it. And if it's so bad, just go ahead and play another game, instead of tearing down a masterpiece. If you guys even understand the word 'Masterpiece' in these millennial times.

Just logged in and have noticed that all my equipped armor has been returned to default shader and default ornament(no ornament). Although i had put ornament and shaders on well before 830am pt. That is only problem i have noticed so far aside from i still can't find my transcendent blessing mod although i had one the day before shadowkeep dropped.

Welp, all the lore pieces I wasted my time collecting are gone and so are the corridors of time now. I finished all this stuff Monday evening (1/27/20) long before reset too.... not a big fan of this patch.
